We are just a day away from departure and things are getting crunched. I'm trying to get work things done and Jamie is making heroic progress on her tax season as well as organizing the packing, the house, the trip plans and spending time with family. We are going to miss everyone but we have come to learn that, if you don't take time to do vacations...........you don't get vacations. A simple but somehow elusive concept.

The kids are all in Murren already having all traveled separately. They are having a wonderful time together. They skied today and the scenery was spectacular in the heart of the alps. It turns out that the boys hacked into the travel site for Jenny and Pete and ordered them special treatment on the flight: Hindu, vegetarian, glutton free meals. , I don't know what they got for dinner but for breakfast Pete got a rice cake and plain yogurt. The flight attendant was so upset that she gave them a bottle of champagne. We got to talk to them on Skype that night when they had all gathered at the chalet in Murren and they were all smiles and giggles. Can't wait to be with them
